People with blood group A are more likely to have a stroke before the age of 60

Researchers from the University of Maryland School of Medicine (USA) analyzed all the data from the studies genetic focused on strokes ischemic (caused by a blockage of blood flow to the brain). In total, nearly 17,000 stroke victims and 600,000 stroke-free controls, all between the ages of 18 and 59, participated in the study.

Mechanisms still under study
