People were threatened after testifying – outside the courtroom

It was in September 2021 that a man testified in Södertälje district court about when his brother was robbed. After the testimony, shortly after he leaves the courtroom, he is confronted and threatened by one of the audience who soon turns out to be a paroled gang criminal.

According to police interrogations, the threatening man allegedly said, among other things, “you live in Saltskog, the same area I live in, wait, you’ll see” and “you won’t get away”.

Now the Court of Appeal has determined that he is sentenced for abuse in a court case, which Dagens Juridik also reported on. The man’s conditionally granted freedom is therefore shortened by two months.
