– We had a patrol that was supposed to go there and carry out a handshake. When they get there, he doesn’t want to go with them, it gets quite messy and noisy and he probably shot through the door, possibly with a shotgun, says Mats Thörn, officer on duty at the police.
The police have personnel with several different skills on site, including both task forces and negotiators. It is unclear whether there are additional people inside the residence.
– He appears to be alone, but we have difficulty getting in touch with him, says Mats Thörn.
The case has been ongoing since around 8pm on Monday evening.
