There is no evidence that reports of suspected so-called UFOs have anything to do with extraterrestrial life, according to a new report from the Pentagon, the US Department of Defense.

In the report, a department at the ministry goes through notifications and information about sightings of unidentified flying objects and phenomena that have been received since 1945.

It finds no evidence that any of them are related to aliens. Nor that it would be explained by companies and authorities working on space or ufo-related projects that they tried to hide from the public.

All research and investigations lead to the conclusion that most of the sightings were ordinary objects or phenomena mistaken for something else, according to the report.

Three years ago, in 2021, the US government also released a report listing 144 sightings of aircraft or objects moving at high speeds and mysterious trajectories. It found no link to extraterrestrial life but called for more data.
