In order to reduce the risk of performance payments after the death of the beneficiary, Some pensioners may be affected by the generalized verification of life existence, regardless of their geographical area of residence or domicile.
To rationalize the performance of the verification activity with a view to administrative simplification, “some groups of retirees are excluded from the assessment such as, for example, those that reside in countries where social security institutions operate with which INPS has entered into technical-procedural agreements for the electronic exchange of information on the death of common pensioners”, explains INPS.
