Pensioner exhibited Hitler paintings in Park-charged for crime

The incident occurred in mid -July last summer. A woman was out walking with her children in the park when she saw the man and his exhibition. The man-who is in his 80s-had been drinking beer and sat on a bench in bare upper body wearing shorts and cross-country ski boots surrounded by watercolor paintings depicting, among other things, hook crosses and Adolf Hitler. Wanted to spread her message the woman called the police and in interrogation the man describes himself as a “history researcher”. He describes the European history writing during the 20th century as incorrect, and calls, among other things, the Russian Revolution of 1917 a “Jewish coup”. He says he wanted to show the paintings to spread his message and describes it all as a “seminar to discuss what happened before”. Refers to crime a witness states that the man played Nazi speeches on his phone and laughed at an interview where a Jew says he is scared and feels persecuted, which the man denies. In interrogation, the man says he denies crime when he considers himself right about the story. The man is charged with hate against people.
