On the evening of February 14, the National Assembly rejected article 2 of the pension reform project which provides for the creation of a “senior index”, a device supposed to promote the maintenance of employment for people over 50. years. The deputies of the Nupes and the National Rally voted against, as well as a majority of the Republicans.
