Penal drama decided the bottom battle – see the decision

Modo is still last in the table, but now awaits a double meeting with Linköping, who are only six points ahead before Saturday’s match.
Linköping is the team that takes the lead, after only 13 seconds.

There is a lot to play for, for both Modo and Linköping. Should Modo take all six points in the team’s two meetings, on Saturday and the following Thursday, they will move up on the same points as Linköping.

Linköping, in turn, left the qualifying spot on Thursday and have a chance to climb further in the table, and keep away from the bottom, if they squeeze the points.

In Saturday’s match, it is Linköping that takes the lead after only 13 seconds, through Lance Bouma.

After two periods played, LHC’s 1-0 lead remains.

Penalties decided

In the third period, Modo equalized through Theodor Niederbach. The match went to extra time, which was goalless.

After three nice penalty goals, one by Modo and two by LHC, the latter team was the winner. Robin Kovacs scored the decisive penalty goal.
