Pelicans says in its press release that it has terminated the player contract of forward Juhamatti Aaltonen, 39.

The ice hockey league club Pelicans has unloaded the forward Juhamatti Aaltonen player contract, the club confirms in its press release.

Aaltonen had a contract with Pelicans for the upcoming season, but according to the club, the contract has been terminated by mutual agreement.

Aaltonen, 39, arrived in the middle of last season in the Pelicans jersey. He scored two goals and a total of six points in 11 regular season games. The playoff matches for the talented attacker accumulated 17.

There is no information about Aaltonen’s new club yet. The winger has played in the league for Kärppie, HIFK, Jukurie and Pelicans.

The new league season starts on September 10.
