Germany’s assistant coach Pekka Kangasalus has enjoyed every moment as the team’s assistant coach. Finnish citizen Samuel Soramies, who represented Germany, described his mood as mixed.

Crazy and heartbreaking
In the German team, you could see the Finnish color anyway, when Samuel Soramies cooled in a triple chain. Soramiehi has Finnish citizenship, because his grandparents once moved to Germany and his father stayed on that path.
According to Soramie, playing in the World Championships in Finland was a very special thing for him.
– I didn’t even dream of this as a child. Right now this is insane and heartbreaking. I don’t know, it’s all together, Soramies said in annoyance.

– Feelings are mixed. I can’t really describe my feelings right now. I am happy that I got the silver medal. I didn’t think I’d get one before this tournament, but at the same time, losing the final is heartbreaking.
Awesome story
Germany’s story was insane, as they lost their first three matches in the preliminary series. After that, the team practically had to win all their games in the preliminary series in order to even reach the quarterfinals.
In the end, the surprise put both Switzerland and the United States in the chorus in the playoffs.
– We played as a team. Everyone gave it their all the whole way. I can see that we can be really proud of the team and what we achieved together.
