Peli-Karhuje’s last match in the basketball women’s EuroCup ended in defeat. The German team Keltern won at home 89–59.
Peli-Karhut started the match without a competitive contribution, as it had lost the opportunity to make it from the first group to the next round before the final match.
PeKa was still in the lead after the middle of the second quarter. At the break, Keltern led 36–30.
The decision of the match was seen right at the beginning of the second half, when the home team won the third ten-minute period 32–12.
Jade Williams scored 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Peka.
The people of Kotka finished last in their starting group. Peli-Karhut won one of the six matches they played, when they defeated Castors Braine, who won the group, on the away field.
