The Liberals’ leader Johan Pehrson attacks parties and associations that do not stand up against anti-Semitism in their own ranks.
– You are a disgrace, he says at the beginning of his speech at the party’s national meeting, without specifying who he is referring to.
– Anti-Semitism has no place in Sweden. Liberals, we put limits on intolerance.
Pehrson emphasizes the importance of being clear with those who praise Hamas.
In the speech, Pehrson also emphasizes that it is Hamas that started the ongoing war in Gaza and that Israel has an obligation to defend itself.
– And I only see a path to peace far, far away. That the terrorists raise the white flag and lay down their weapons.
