Pehrson: Mismanagement at schools should be fined
Education Minister Johan Pehrson (L) wants schools that do not comply with the law to be able to receive fines, as a complement to fines.
– Schools that do not meet the requirements set out in the Education Act must be able to face a direct consequence in the form of a fine. Then you can’t take chances in the way that you might suspect that some schools have done, he tells SR Ekot.
He is referring to Ekot’s previous reporting that the School Inspectorate only went to court in two cases in the last five years and demanded fines.
A penalty order is intended as a means of pressure but often becomes a long process. The issue of fines is currently being investigated and is expected to be finalized this spring.

Joe Biden will let Donald Trump take over the implementation of shutting down Tiktok in the US, reports ABC News.
Thus, Biden will not implement the law that would cause Tiktok to be stopped for users in the country before he leaves office.
“Our position on this has been clear: TikTok should continue to operate under American ownership. Given the timing of the law going into effect on a holiday and a day before the inauguration of the new president, it will be up to the next administration to implement,” a White House representative told the news channel.
Tiktok is scheduled to shut down in the US on Sunday, January 19.

“Of the houses of worship that I have stepped into, none were financed by communism’s blood money. Nooshi Dadgostar cannot say the same about his party premises”.
