The legendary Spanish director’s first feature in English was liked by the judges at the film festival.
A Spanish director legend by Pedro Almodovar the film La habitación de al lado (The Room Next Door in English) has won the Golden Lion award for best film at the Venice Film Festival.
It is Almodovar’s first full-length film in English. The drama about family relationships stars Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore.
The award for the best actress at the film festival was won by an American actress Nicole Kidman from the movie Babygirl. The Frenchman won the best actor award Vincent Lindon from the movie Jouer avec le feu.
