Norfolk OPP are investigating a Dec. 2 hit and run collision that sent a pedestrian to hospital with severe injuries.

Officers were sent to Alice Street in Waterford at about 10:55 pm to investigate a vehicle-pedestrian collision.

Police subsequently learned that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle at about 7:45 pm on Dec. 1 while crossing the road. The vehicle, described as a white van, was last seen traveling southbound on St. James Street.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital and treated for severe but non-life-threatening injuries.
