The creative heads of a marketing agency, together with a manufacturer of PC components, have created a concept car based on a stylish case.
The HYTE brand provides gamers with a wide range of different products for building tidy and aesthetic computers. As a lifestyle-centric brand, HYTE aims to meet the needs of gamers by releasing products that push the limits of the PC building adventure.
A real eye-catcher
Which housing was the basis for the concept? With the “HYTE Y40” they chose an innovative design. A two-part panoramic window made of tempered glass enables a clear view of the hardware installed inside from several angles.
The case also offers enough space for several large fans and, if necessary, enough space to install a voluminous water cooling system. High-end graphics cards up to a maximum length of 422 mm are no problem for the “Y40” and can also be mounted vertically if required.
How did HYTE proceed? In order to make itself known as a brand and especially the case to a larger number of potential buyers, HYTE decided to partner with a marketing agency. The selected agency, Bold, focuses on using creative and unusual ideas to skilfully present the products and brands of other companies.
This merger gave rise to the concept idea for the “Y40 Mobile”.
Gaming on wheels
What was the result of the collaboration? The final marketing product is an 8 second video showing a chassis on wheels with front and rear lights. A moving case the size of a bus is quite spectacular in itself. But the makers insisted on filling the interior with plenty of life.
How is the HYTE mobile equipped? The interior begins quite unspectacularly on the lower floor, with two front seats and a steering wheel and associated driver. Of course, the colorful RGB fans known from many gaming PCs should not be missing. Three copies on the ceiling, a model on the back and the glowing manufacturer’s logo instead of a mainboard provide enough light inside.
Can you also play mobile? The highlight is definitely on the upper level. A gamer is sitting upstairs at a desk with a monitor. Of course he gambles with a computer in the Y40 case. Mobile gaming has never been more stylish. If that weren’t enough, one person dances to loud electro beats on each level.
Successful marketing
How is the advertising received? This idea and its implementation caused great admiration and praise from reddit users.
There were also disappointed comments when it became clear that this is not a real vehicle. The video comes entirely from the computer and was created with various graphics programs and tools.
Some express enthusiasm in the comments:
Another user worries about the two-part glass front:
What do you think about the implementation of this marketing idea? Brilliant or disappointing because the vehicle doesn’t actually exist?
