Paul Pavlowitch, a writer’s life between Émile Ajar and Romain Gary

Paul Pavlowitch is a writer. All Immortals is his seventh book. He embodied the character of Émile Ajar, author’s name of the novel among others The life ahead (Prix Goncourt 1975) and pseudonym of Romain Gary, his cousin – from 1973 to 1981.

All Immortals

“After the adventures of Émile Ajar, more than forty years passed, during which I had to live. Before it’s too late, I decided to piece together the memories of those I loved who have passed away. »

Paul Pavlowitch remembers those who shared his life, the icons Romain Gary and Jean Seberg. Going through his memory and his notebooks, he recounts the fate of these two magnificent immortals and the history of their family tribe.

All together, they waged a “war to the death” against reality, shook up the world of literature, made a novel out of their lives. For better and for worse.

All Immortals : more than ten years of writing, an exceptional document and an amazing freedom.
