The new contract runs until spring 2026. 28 years old Patrick Power has played a total of 19 matches this season with an output of 3+7=10.
In Kärppie’s announcement, the man says that he had a good time with his family.
– I am really satisfied that I can continue here. We have a good gang and a lot of good guys within the organization. That was one of the big reasons why I wanted to stay, says Virta.
Kärppi’s sports director Mikko Myllykoski is satisfied with the concluded extension agreement.
– Virtra, nicknamed Patu, wanted to continue in Kärpi and we wanted to keep him in our ranks, so it was easy to agree on a continuation. I believe that even better things can be expected in the future, says Myllykoski.
The striker, who won two Finnish championships in Tappara, moved to Oulun Kärppi on a one-year contract last June.
