Patrik Laine’s speeches did not go through – a teammate reveals the conversation during the game | Sports in a nutshell

Patrik Laines speeches did not go through a teammate

Josh Anderson didn’t buy Patrik Laine’s talk on the bench. Head coach Martin St. Louis liked what he saw.

Patrick Laine returned to the hockey league NHL after almost a year’s break, when the Montreal Canadiens defeated the New York Islanders 2–1.

In his return match, Laine immediately scored a goal and came out with the puck anyway. Montreal forward Josh Anderson however revealed that he did not feel good about the Finn.

– He kept saying (that he feels terrible) after the first set. He said he could only last 20 seconds and then he was gone, Anderson said According to Sportsnet.

– I just said that I don’t know about that, you seem to dominate on the ice.

The wave brought new energy

Laine was able to enjoy the attention of the loud Montreal audience during the evening. This was also noted by the captain who scored the winning goal for the Canadiens Nick Suzuki.

– The applause Laine received after the goal was a special thing. “The fans have given him nothing but love since he got here, so naturally he was excited to be back,” Suzuki said.

Slovak star who played in the same chain as Laine Juraj Slafkovsky got to evaluate after the match, what kind of reaction Laine got from the home crowd.

– It was pretty good. Not as good as when I did the hat trick though. But it’s definitely up there, Slafkovsky described.

Slafkovsky, who represented the Turku Football Club in Finland, sees that Laine will bring new energy to Montreal. Ketju played as a center Kirby Dach.

– He brings new energy, new winds. He is a great player and I love playing with him. “Our chain played pretty well today,” Slafkovsky said.

The chain looked good

Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis admitted he was excited a couple of days ago when he heard Laine was coming back against the Islanders. He liked what he saw and played the chain.

– They haven’t played together before, but they still looked good. It is good to start building the future on top of this. They need to keep going and improve game by game. I’m not going to overreact based on one game, but I’m glad they looked good together, St. Louis condensed.
