Patrik Laine will not play this week in the Czech EHT tournament. Laine’s participation in the upcoming World Cup is uncertain. Injured Iiro Pakarinen misses the World Cup.

Columbus NHL player Patrick Laine misses this week’s hockey EHT tournament in the Czech Republic.

Laine’s situation is being monitored and her participation in the upcoming World Championships will be decided next weekend.

Also Iiro Pakarinen has to miss this week’s EHT tournament due to the injury he got in the match against Sweden.

The World Cup starts on Friday, May 12. The first group of the Lions will be played in Tampere and the second group of the games in Riga, Latvia.

The Lions’ competition team will be named right after the Czech tournament, either next Sunday or Monday.
