Blizzard brings the next patch for Season 7 from Diablo 4. After a few hotfixes, patch 2.1.2 is now patched and ensures that you can find the rare altars better. A faulty unique for the death complaints is also fixed.
What about the altars? The forces of the witch power are the seasonal mechanics in Season 7 of Diablo 4. However, you have to find special altars for certain witch powers – and that ensures frustration with some players. Blizzard has already raised the spawn rate of the “forgotten altars” with patch 2.1.1. Now the developers bring new affixes into nightmare dungeons, which are also about the altars.
This changes Blizzard: The forgotten altars, to unlock forgotten forgotten forces of the witch power, can be found in random dungeons in Sanktuario. In order to guarantee spawning such an altar, new affixes in the nightmare dungeons are supplemented. This means that you can find the key to nightmaring dungeons that contain an affix, such as “in the dungeon there is a higher chance of forgotten altars”.
In the patch notes, Blizzard writes in concrete terms: “In order to guarantee the appearance of a forgotten altar, a new nightmare dungeon-savvy affix was added. This affix is only an option on nightmare dungeon seals for the rest of the season. ”
Patch 2.1.2 appears on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. You can find the full German patch notes on page 2.

What else does the patch bring? In addition, patch 2.1.2 brings some bug fixes with it. An error in the Season trip, in which goals were not shown as completed, is fixed. The problem that goals reset when qualifying bosses are first combated in a group and then solo is fixed.
With the patch, Blizzard also matters mistakes that affect the builds of different classes:
The bugfix for the unique “Mendelns Ring” should be particularly pleased with Minion Tototenknar. The ring is still strong, but has so far not been able to get the damage that it should actually – that is finally being fixed.
