The upcoming patch 1.5.2 for Diablo 4 not only fixes some bugs, but also makes the season journey easier. One particular task in particular will become much easier.
The highlights from the patch:
When will patch 1.5.2 go live? According to Blizzard, the new patch 1.5.2 will go live on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. We expect it to be available around 7 p.m. The full German patch notes can be found on the second page of the article. This time they are not as extensive.
20 commanders become 5
Which task does the update make easier? Patch 1.5.2 brings a change to the Season Journey that affects Stage 5. One objective in the stage requires you to defeat a total of 20 Infernal Commanders. Players said: “Probably one of the worst seasonal tasks.”
Some people thought that 5 commanders would be more appropriate here. The problem here was that the commanders spawn at the end of certain events in the Helltide. The events are not visible on the world map – so finding these specific enemies was often a matter of chance. With the update, the number of commanders you have to defeat to achieve the objective is actually reduced to 5.
The patch also brings a change to the Hellbreach dungeons: chests will no longer be able to be opened accidentally. The weather effects in the Helltide will also be revised with the update.
The “March of the Goblins” event is currently running in Diablo 4 – but there seems to be a bug here too. The treasure goblins also spawn at the world boss Avarice (in German: Knorzer) and drop a lot of loot. However, players don’t get all of it. You can read more about it here: Diablo 4: Avarice drops a lot of loot during the event – but you don’t get most of it
