From October 4 to 8, 2023, Pasteurdon, with Alexandra Lamy as godmother, calls on the general public to make donations for the Pasteur Institute, a French foundation dedicated to medical research, particularly on cancer or Alzheimer’s.
Every year since 2006, Pasteurdon raises awareness and calls for donations for biomedical research at the Pasteur Institute. The 17th edition takes place from October 4 to 8, 2023. The opportunity to share with the public the quality, diversity and advances of the research carried out within the walls of the Institut Pasteur. It is also a call for donations operation, essential for financing the work of researchers. This year, donations are being used to fight emerging infectious diseases, cancer research and the study of neurodegenerative diseases and brain connectivity diseases.

Where to declare your donation in Pasteurdon for taxes?
The Institute being a foundation recognized as being of public utility, each of which is the subject ofa tax deduction. Individuals benefit from a tax reduction equal to 66% of the donation amount within the limit of 20% of their taxable income. For example, if your donation is 100 eurosyour tax deduction is 66 euros and therefore your donation actually costs you 34 euros. Once the donation has been made, the Pasteur Institute will send you your tax receipt, which will allow you to declare your donation to the tax authorities.
- As part of a one-off donation, your tax receipt is sent to you by email or by post. It is also available in your donor area.
- As part of a regular donation by direct debitan annual tax receipt is sent to you in the 1st quarter of the following year for your tax return.
