Curtain up for the 79th edition of the Venice Film Festival which promises to be exceptional. The festival confirms its reputation as Hollywood on the lagoon with an impressive contingent of stars: Cate Blanchett, Penelope Cruz, Catherine Deneuve, Thimothée Chalamet… 23 films are in competition with a jury chaired by Julianne Moore. But Venice is also business with 3,000 professionals from all over the world who are expected at the Film Market. Interview with its director, Pascal Diot.
