Alain Delon is the only son of Fabien Delon and Edith Arnold (pictured). His father was the director of a local cinema before he died in 1977. His mother was a pharmacy technician who died in 1995. Coming from the lower middle class, his family is originally from Tarn-et-Garonne. Among his ancestors, we also find a great-grandfather, Fabien Delon, decorated with the Legion of Honor.
