It usually takes around a year for a new season of I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here! to appear. But for the 20th anniversary, RTL has come up with something special: An anniversary season, moderated by Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen with 13 former participants. The candidates have to be prepared for some new developments.
What are the new rules for the 2024 Summer Jungle Camp?
The biggest change is the venue. This time the jungle camp is not taking place in Australia, but in South Africa. In addition, the participants have to go without a companion this time and fly home immediately after being kicked out. In previous seasons they were allowed to wait in a luxury hotel for the reunion show at the end.
It will also be special for the viewers. This time, the viewers are not allowed to decide whether the participants stay or are kicked out. There is a reason for this: The jungle camp will be not broadcast live. The reality jungle has been broadcast daily on RTL since August 16th, but the show is already completely pre-produced. The biggest reality TV fans can also watch the jungle camp a day earlier. The current episode will be shown on RTL+ almost 24 hours earlier.
