With Paddington and Paddington 2, Paul King has created two of the best fantasy adventures of recent years. Based on the children’s book series of the same name tells the story of the lovable bear Paddington, who makes his way to London and stays with the Brown family.

After two imaginatively told adventures in the streets of London, Paddington and the Browns find themselves in the jungle in the next film. Paddington in Peru is the next film in the series and that is not all: As it turns out, a further continuation in development at StudioCanal UK.

As the Hollywood Reporter reports, Paddington in Peru was recently introduced at an industry event in London. The event not only discussed the brand’s legacy and the success of the first films. Looking to the future of the popular franchise, there was enough time. And it sounds promising.

“We are also working on a new television series and a new movie to be released in 2027, 2028”reveals Françoise Guyonnet, CEO of the Kids & Family division of StudioCanal UK. So it is official: Paddington 4 is on its way to cinemas. And this time the friendly bear is returning back much earlier.

While there is a considerable gap of seven years between parts 2 and 3, the Halve waiting time for Paddington 4if the timeline presented by Guyonnet works out. In the meantime, the new Paddington series should be launched. What exactly it will look like has not yet been revealed.

So far, four animated Paddington series have been released:

When will Paddington in Peru be released in cinemas? Before Paddington 4 and the new series are released, we can look forward to the cinema release of the third part. In Great Britain, Paddington in Peru will be released in cinemas in November 2024. In Germany, the journey continues on January 30, 2024 – and is based on several film classics, as Empire reports.

Same two masterpieces by Werner Herzog The film was inspired by: Aguirre, the Wrath of God and Fitzcarraldo. In addition, the musical classic My Songs, My Dreams and the incredible nun spectacle The Black Narcissus by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger are said to have been a great inspiration.

After part 3, we can look forward to seeing where Paddington and the Browns will end up next. If the concept of Paddington in Peru works, the series could follow in the footsteps of Indiana Jones, The Mummy and Co. In other words: every new film has a different setting and an adventure.
