It was on Monday morning that Örebro municipality received information that the payment app for the municipality’s parking lots does not work. At lunchtime, users were still met with an error message.

– We do not check whether people have paid today. We have never experienced such an extensive error from the supplier, says Daliz Kovacevic, administrative coordinator at the parking department in Örebro municipality.
According to Magnus Henriksson, the problem arose in connection with the replacement of an electricity meter in the company’s server hall.
– We had received information that it would not affect us, but we assume that the power to our servers disappeared in connection with the change. We have a lot of people on site to solve the problem as quickly as possible.
