For the very first stage of Paris Nice 2022, the Dutch Jumbo Visma team crushed the competition and put on a show by signing a historic hat-trick. Leaving in the last kilometers, Wout Van Aert, Primoz Roglic, favorites of this edition, left the victory to the newcomer to the formation, the Frenchman Christophe Laporte.

At the end of the first stage of this Paris – Nice 2022, the Frenchman Christophe Laporte is at the top of the classification in front of his teammates Roglic and Van Aert.

Starting in the last meters, the Frenchman Pierre Latour is in 4th position, but already almost 30 seconds behind the riders of the Jumbo.
