The ticket office for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games (August 28-September 8) opens Monday October 9 with 2.8 million places available and the ambition, high but claimed, to sell them in full. In order to achieve this – and perhaps exceed the 2.7 million tickets for London in 2012 – the sales formula is intended to be different and less expensive than that of the Olympic Games. Unlike the Olympic Games, where the purchase first went through a draw, the tickets to attend the approximately 550 Paralympic events will be won according to the adage “first come, first served”. Everything is on sale from 08:00 UT, with prices ranging from 15 to 100 euros, opening ceremonies – between 150 and 700 euros – and closing ceremonies – between 45 and 450 euros – not included. Among these more than two million tickets, 60,000 will be easy-access seats, and 12,000 reserved for people in wheelchairs.
