At 18, the Nigerian beat the Ukrainian Oksana Kozyna in 2 sets, 21-9 21-9 in the small final. This is Nigeria’s first medal in these Paralympic Games and above all the first medal in the history of Africa in this discipline, Olympic and Paralympic Games combined. A great accomplishment for the young girl, who has had a very painful life.
