Earlier, the rental board in Malmö also said no to eviction and pointed out that there is nothing to indicate that the sons themselves have committed crimes or disturbed the apartment building or the immediate surroundings. The Svea Court of Appeal agrees with the reasoning.
MKB, Malmö’s municipal housing company, has claimed that the parents are responsible for the sons, who according to the police have connections to criminal gangs, and that they therefore cannot stay.
Since the Svea Court of Appeal is the last instance in cases of this kind, the judgment cannot be appealed.
