Paradox stops the launch of “Life by you”

“We have long hoped for ‘Life by you’ and the potential that we saw but in the end it is clear that the game will not be able to meet our expectations. A version that we are satisfied with is too far away and therefore we are taking the heavy the decision to cancel the release,” says Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox, in the press release.

“Going forward, we will be able to do much better, it is clear that we still have work to do,” he says further.

“Life by you” was supposed to take up the fight with the very popular game series “The sims”.

The development costs for the game have been over SEK 200 million, which will affect the company’s results for the second quarter of 2024.
