Paradox bets on “Star Trek” strategy
Swedish publisher Paradox bets on a new space strategy game. This time they do it with the “Star Trek” license behind them.
In “Star Trek: Infinite,” the player takes control of one of four phalanxes, namely the Federation, Klingon, Romulan, or Cardassian, and deploys spaceships, manages the economy, and balances diplomacy. When the latter fails, the photon torpedoes get to speak instead.
The Argentinian Nimble Giant, which among other things contributed material to “Fortnite”, is responsible for the development. The game will be released for PC this fall.
