Jessica pricks a stem one leaf at a time to create an increasingly full flower. She first applied some paint to the pink paper leaves with a stamp, so that they come to life. “If you use plain paper, it becomes very flat. I work with different colors of ink, which gives you a really natural color. This takes away the feeling that it is paper and people think, is it real or fake, they want it just feel it.”
