The police’s surveillance of the Danish-Swedish far-right politician Rasmus Paludan’s election meetings has so far cost over SEK 43 million, according to Sweden’s Radio Ekot.
For example, the police’s first operation in connection with the so-called Easter coups in Örebro cost around SEK 800,000.
When Paludan came back after some time, the police had manned up with, among other things, police horses and a helicopter – then the bill of 2.2 million kroner landed, says Ekot.
