Jailed former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has formally filed his candidacy for the post of chancellor of Oxford University in Britain, the announcement was made by Sayed Zuulfikar, spokesman for his political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He is running to succeed Chris Patten, the last governor of Hong Kong, who has announced his intention to step down before the end of the academic year.
