A convoy of Chinese engineers was targeted in southwestern Pakistan in a bomb and gun attack at the entrance to the Gwadar port area on Sunday (August 13th). According to the consulate in Karachi, there would be no Chinese casualties. Two assailants were killed and four Pakistani soldiers injured in the attack claimed by the Balochistan Liberation Army.
