“Good baked” stops selling – after 40 years

It is Pågen’s bread “good baked” that has stopped selling. Geijer at Pågen believes that the bread has previously engaged the customers and that the company has received several reactions that “well baked” is no longer included in the range.

– We are extremely happy and grateful for consumers’ appreciation of “good baked”. It is a bread that has been in the range for a long time and we understand the missing consumer.

The first variant of the bread was released in the early 1980s and then went under the name “Greatly baked rough bread”. In other words, the bread has been for sale for over 40 years and can be said to belong to one of Pågen’s classics.

Pågen: “Low sales volumes”

In recent years, customers have not shown as much interest in the bread as before.

– The bread has ceased to be manufactured as the demand for the bread is no longer so great in our consumers. When we decide to take out a bread from the range, it is due to low sales volumes, Geijer tells News24.
