Many of the people and companies behind the successful two previous films, the latest of which came in 2017, reunite in the new film. But in the director’s chair for the first time Dougal Wilson, who previously made music videos and commercials.
“Having worked on Paddington films for ten years, I feel absurdly protective of the little bear and I’m relieved that Dougal will be there holding his paw as he embarks on his third big screen adventure,” said former director Paul King in a comment.
The plot is mostly kept under wraps, but the English title “Paddington in Peru” may at least give a hint as to where the film will take place.
