Russian President Vladimir Putin tells state news agency TASS that Moscow has agreed with Belarus to place tactical nuclear weapons in the neighboring country. According to Lieutenant Colonel Joakim Paasikivi, the biggest effect is that Russia reduces Belarus’ independence. – From the Russian side, Belarus is tied closer to itself.
