(Finance) – The Minister for Public Administration, Paolo Zangrillodeclared that on the topic of employee recruitment in 2023 the government has “carried out important work to simplify all the procedures who preside over public sector competitions, we have completely digitalised them”. On the sidelines of the national assembly of Anci Giovani in Montecatini Terme (Pistoia), Zangrillo underlined that “al InPA portal all public administrations must access to recruit people. Since January 1st of this year we have also had an app that allows all citizens to check on their smartphone which are the notices of competition of public administration. We have drastically reduced processing times procedures competitive which have gone from more than 2 years before the pandemic to the current six months”.
“THE young they are the future ruling class of our country – the minister declared during his speech in the assembly -. In them lie the energy and motivation necessary to face the challenges of this time. For this reason I believe it is necessary, indeed a priority, to deal above all with you who administer our territories”.
Zangrillo recalled the data from Barometro Pa according to which the attractiveness of the public sector as employer. “7 out of 10 Italians are interested in a job in the Public Administration not only for the secure job – he underlined – but also for the quality of the professional offer. Furthermore, the perception of Italians is improving, who increasingly see the Public Administration as a protagonist in transformation processes of the country. And out of the 64% of citizens who say they are satisfied, it is precisely young people aged 18 to 34 who are the most positive.”
“To win the challenge of modernization of Public Administration – added Zangrillo, addressing the audience of young administrators – we need the contribution of well-prepared and qualified young people: we cannot miss the opportunity to make use of their essential help. For this reason I intend to create the necessary conditions so that they can find the right workplace in our organizations, activating that cooperation between generations that is fundamental for the professional and personal growth of each worker, but also of each large company”.
