The Power Trip performance would have been his first live gig in nearly five years, but on Monday Osbourne released a statement saying he’s pulling out of the festival to avoid going there and giving a bad performance.
“Unfortunately, my body isn’t ready yet and I’m far too proud to let the first show I’ve done in almost five years go half-baked,” Osbourne wrote on Twitter.
Ozzy Osbourne has had several health problems in recent years. As recently as February, he canceled planned concerts in Europe, explaining at the time that he was still struggling to recover from back surgery he underwent in 2019.
The surgery was done after he fell, aggravating the injury he sustained in a quad bike accident in 2003.
