Lambton public health seeks information after a three-year-old child was bitten by a dog Monday.
The incident happened at about 9:30 am at a park on Lyndoch and Cameron streets, the health unit said.
The dog is described as small, white with brown spots, resembling a Jack Russell terrier, and was being walked by an older man with white hair.
Anyone with information about the dog and its owner is asked to contact public health at 519-383-8331 ext. 3533.
If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal is not verified, the child will need to receive post-exposure rabies shots, the health unit said.
