A person has been taken to hospital by ambulance after overturning the car between Norrköping and Kolmården, according to the emergency services. The car has ended up on the roof of the railway track and the Swedish Transport Administration has stopped the train service.

The emergency services cannot say whether the person is seriously injured.

– We remain at the scene to direct car traffic that will go between, because it partially blocks the train and the road, says Håkan Ljung, officer on duty at the rescue service.

The Swedish Transport Administration is on its way to the scene to check whether the accident has caused any damage to the railway network, according to the police.

– The car seems to have hit a post near the railway, so you have to inspect, says Viktor Bergman, RLC officer at the police.
