Over 800 Russian demonstrators have been arrested as a result of protests around the country. The demonstrators are protesting Russia’s partial mobilization in Ukraine.
The human rights organization OVD-Info reports that hundreds of people have been arrested as a result of the protests in nearly 40 Russian cities. AFP news agency reporters say that riot police have arrested protesters in Moscow.
Earlier on Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had ordered a partial mobilization in the war of aggression against Ukraine. The aggression is strongly condemned by the outside world.
