It doesn’t always have to be heavy fare and can be funny too: tonight you can switch off perfectly and watch two top-class superhero films with lots of action on TV. Aquaman and Shazam! are coming one after the other.

Arthur Curry aka Aquaman (Jason Momoa) is the son of a lighthouse keeper and the queen of Atlantis. He can breathe underwater, talk to sea creatures and swim extremely fast. However, he becomes involved in a global conflict between pirates, humans and the sea. Atlantis even declares war on the surface and the only thing that can help against this is a legendary trident – which must first be found.

Fun action on TV: Aquaman and Shazam! are guaranteed to put you in a good mood
The two films from the DC universe have very different advantages. Aquaman is full of bombast and, above all, shows us a truly impressive underwater worldthat you can’t see anywhere else. Shazam! relies more on humor and approachable, likeable characters who just want to get by somehow.
What both films have in common, however, is that they are simply very entertaining. One after the other, they create the ideal mix of exciting action and light-hearted humor, which complement each other perfectly.
