More than 100 people in Iran have been imprisoned on suspicion of involvement in the poison attacks that affected thousands of girls and young women. According to Iran’s Ministry of the Interior, those arrested must have wanted to create fear among the population. The attacks are interpreted by many as a religious revenge campaign following the demands for more freedom and rights for girls and women. See more in the player above.
