The Outdoor Concert Series returns to the Bell Homestead in June.

The series includes the Time to Sing Concert and Summer Serenade Concert, with performances by local singers and musicians.

“June is a beautiful time of year to enjoy the outdoor summer concert series on the verandah of the historic Bell Homestead,” said curator Brian Wood. “These concerts aim to showcase local talented musicians and singers with music that highlights the 150th anniversary of the telephone.”

The Time to Sing Concert is on Sunday, June 9 at 3 pm, with the Brant County Singers kicking off the series with songs that were enjoyed by the Bell family. The event is free but donations are appreciated and will go toward Brant Food for Thought.

The Summer Serenade Concert will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 7 pm The Brantford Memorial Concert Band will perform instrumental music. Donations will be accepted at this free outdoor concert in support of the Brantford School of Instrumental Music. The concert rain date is Sunday, June 23 at 3 pm

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to the concerts. The Exchange Cafe will be open for the purchase of baked goods, ice cream and beverages. The Phone Booth Museum Store will be open for the purchase of souvenirs and vintage items.
