The facility has ten confirmed cases and has not had a scabies outbreak at this level before.
– There is a risk of spread and we are working on them, says Markus Winberg, deputy head of the institution, to P4 Örebro.
Scabies is transmitted, among other things, by prolonged skin-to-skin contact, via clothing, towels and bedding.
– We look over the spread of infection and make sure they get the right medical treatment. They get a cream and then we change the bedding after the first night and then again after three days, says Markus Winberg.
